FUNDS RAISED BY 2025 RUNNIGNG OF THE PKRF CHARITY RACE EXPECTED TO BRING FUNDS RAISED TO OVER €2 MILLION.
The dust has settled on another amazing running of the PKRF Charity race at the 2025 Punchestown Festival.
The PKRF are pleased to announce, that with the money raised this year, we will go through the €2 million barrier for funds raised.
For many of the 20 riders who took part in the race, kidney research and organ donation are close to their hearts, none more so then this years winner Sarah Costello - Reflecting on her win aboard the Andy Slattery trained "Dark Note", Sarah said: "It was amazing, its a cause that's very close to my family, with my Dad having being on dialysis and getting a transplant, and also my uncle has gotten a transplant".
There are too many people for us to thank, but a special thanks goes to Puchestown Racecourse, who are so accommodatingto to us each year and put on such a wonderful spectacle for the week.
Also the owners and trainers of each horse, the race wouldn't be possible without your support of such a great cause.
The 2025 results are as follows -
1st Sarah Costello riding Dark Note, trained by Andy Slattery
2nd Nickey O'Connor riding Presenting Max, trained by Tony Martin
3rd Dorota Kulikowska riding Numidia, trained by Peter Lawlor.
